In this section, I'll describe the philosophy behind Deployment Driven Design, and present my arguments as to why it's a solid paradigm for designing and building software. But before jumping into the code, we need to take care of all the "external" challenges that surround SharePoint development: computer setups, Visual Studio configurations, and local environments to punish.
